As I am approaching my 73rd year, I am aware that I have a couple of decades to accomplish what my heart would like to do. I have learned to trust so much more than I knew was possible. I realize that I don't feel old, not as I thought I would...but I have come to realize that I really never considered being old. Looking back does not seem such a daunting affair now, as it once was. I no longer need to notice the mistakes with regret or shame; I've made friends with them.
